CHINA MINING Congress & Expo, one of the world's premier mining congress and exhibition and one of four world's top mining events, has truly become Asia's largest mineral exploration and mining trading platform. It plays a critical role in creating communications and opportunities for Chinese domestic and international mining interests.

Over the years, CHINA MINING Congress & Expo has developed into one of the premier mining trade shows in the world. In 2011, the Congress & Expo will be celebrating the 13th annual event at Tianjin Meijing Convention Center, the hosting venue of Dovas World Economic Forum 2011.

CHINA MINING Congress & Expo consists of three parts – the conference, the exhibition and the featured events.

Conference
The conference attracts the world's policy makers and the industry’s leading voices in presenting the hottest topics and providing insightful information. The topics also cover mining industry trends, the global mineral commodity market, domestic and international investment opportunities, sustainable mining development, geological surveys, mining technologies and equipment.

Exhibition
The exhibition includes country pavilions, mining and exploration companies, investment and financing institutions, evaluation consultancies, (technical) service providers and equipment suppliers. CHINA MINING Congress & Expo aims to build communication and create business opportunities in mining exploration, development, investment, equipment and technologies.
Last year the CHINA MINING Congress & Expo attracted almost 4,500 delegates from 57 countries and regions, as well as over 150 media outlets worldwide.

Featured Events
The featured events include the welcome cocktail party, Awards Gala Dinner and mine site visit. The Award Gala Dinner has become a highlight of the conference. For the past seven years CHINA MINING Congress & Expo has welcomed and celebrated the outstanding mining achievements of mining professionals from the world's major mining jurisdictions.
